Ywudi .com is a content driven website aimed at challenging youth to rise above a social standard that has been accepted for too long. The standard of accepting the moral failure our society has experienced with a “sit-down-practice-passivity” mind set. With political debates raging over issues like abortion, gay marriage, and what Christians can and cant say, its time to get off the couch and do something. There are so many changes happening in our world, and a lot of those changes are directly affecting the youth of our nation, yet the youth have no voice or way to speak out.

Through dynamic media and video responses to headline topics, ywudi thrives on letting the youth’s voice be heard. The Voice may be small, it may be strong, it may be quiet, it may be loud, but whatever and wherever the voice--we recognize that every voice is important.

Ywudi.com was created by a non-profit faith-based organization called The Life Center, of Midland, Texas. The Life Center’s mission is to promote sexual integrity for life through prevention by education, intervention in crisis, and restoration in healing. The Life Center recognizes that to encourage moral integrity for someone’s life, it goes beyond their sexuality; it goes into the root of our thinking, into the purpose of why we live life and how we live it. The Life Center has chosen “Voice” to be the theme and common outcry for ywudi.com. “Voice” can be used in many different contexts, but in this case it is “the right or opportunity to express a choice or opinion”. We understand that a “Voice” is not necessarily just something that is heard or spoken but it is also something that is seen in the expression of life. The way someone lives is the voice for that life and often speaks louder and stronger than words. Our concept is that one of the most impacting ways to give the youth truth is to let other youth give it to them, through speech and the way they live. With this in mind, our desire is to give youth an opportunity to be the foundation for ywudi, with the intention that their voice will be a new voice for the issues facing culture today.
